A special 20th anniversary edition of the beloved international bestseller that changed millions of lives

Maybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher, or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, helped you see the world as a more profound place, gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it.

For Mitch Albom, that person was Morrie Schwartz, his college professor from nearly twenty years ago.

Maybe, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor as you made your way, and the insights faded, and the world seemed colder. Wouldn't you like to see that person again, ask the bigger questions that still haunt you, receive wisdom for your busy life today the way you once did when you were younger?

Mitch Albom had that second chance. He reconnected with Morrie in the last months of the older man's life. Knowing he was dying, Morrie visited with Mitch in his study every Tuesday, just as they used to back in college. Their rekindled relationship turned into one final "class:" lessons in how to live.

Tuesdays with Morrie is a magical chronicle of their time together, through which Mitch shares Morrie's lasting gift with the world.

  • What a human being can leave after own’s death.

    By Jemma, K.
I’ve read this book several times, and every time I read this book, I find something moving my heart. The first time I read this book was when I was in an elementary school. I cried like a baby while I turned pages. Now, I’m an adult and I cannot remember how many times I’ve read this book. However, still I learn something from Morrie’s words. His words are simple, ordinary, but powerful. In this time, “Forgive not only others, but also yourself,” made me cry. I’m pretty sure that when I’m lost, I will read this book again and get kind answers from his words.

I found a tremendous peacefulness in these pages. My father has been declining for some time and he read the book a few years back. I wanted to be able to connect with him- as he draws many details of the book into his own life. Great read!

I would not care about the price of this book, I would purchase it. It is truly an amazing novel, which questions our understanding about life and death.

Though the book deals with a dying man, it offers you a new insight on love and living. It makes you look at life and ask yourself the real tough questions. Giving is living is so profound. Reading this has changed me.. thanks for sharing your thought Morrie!

  • The best I've ever read

    By Sissy1.0
I was given a list of books to read for my freshman summer reading. I picked this book after doing so research on it and thought to myself, "This will be an easy read, enough to get me a grade." But this book went far beyond anything I had expected. This was a hard hitting and emotional charged book. I absolutely love it and recommend to anyone to read, whether it be for school or for fun.

I read this book once out of boredom when I was very very young. I remember not being very moved. I read it again as a hard pressed miserable adult(lol) and it spoke volumes to me. Simple put I marvelous quick easy read. I've gotten plenty of people to enjoy it and my copy is well worn.
